My name is Jay. I’m 21 years old, from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and currently a Business major at South Carolina State University. I’m a former athlete with a lifelong passion for fitness, movement, and personal development. Fitness has always been more than a hobby—it’s been a driving force in my life. What started with athletics evolved into a commitment to strength and conditioning, daily training, and a focused mindset. I love working out, not just for the physical results, but for the discipline, confidence, and balance it brings to my life. I’m currently working toward competing in bodybuilding competitions and building a career where I can train and inspire others on their own fitness journeys. Whether it's helping someone reach their first goal or pushing an athlete to new limits, my mission is to bring energy, structure, and support to every step of the process. For me, it’s not just about building a strong body—it’s about creating a strong lifestyle.

My Story

    My fitness journey began on the football field, where I first developed the discipline, structure, and mental toughness that shaped who I am today. After stepping away from the game, I was determined to keep pushing myself physically and mentally—so I transitioned from being a team athlete to building strength in the gym. Over the past five years, I trained consistently on and off, but it was over the last two years that I became fully dedicated to the process. I focused on structured strength training, proper nutrition, and learning the science behind fitness. During that time, I went from 160 pounds to 180 pounds, gaining lean muscle, improving definition, and transforming my body through intentional, goal-driven work. What made the difference wasn’t just the reps—it was the education. I invested time into understanding the body’s muscle groups, functional training techniques, recovery strategies, and how to create effective programs. I didn’t just want to look better—I wanted to know how and why the body changes, and how to do it the right way.​That’s what inspired the creation of Get Fit With Jay.​Through my platform, my goal is to help others transform their health and physique—whether they’re just starting out, getting back into shape, or pushing for the next level. Get Fit With Jay is built around accountability, education, and personalized coaching, so every client can unlock their full potential and build a body—and lifestyle—they’re proud of. Fitness changed my life, and now I’m here to help change yours.
